Vets for Kids

Making a difference in our community
Vets for Kids was founded in Olympia, Washington, in July 2025, born from a deep commitment to children and families across the Pacific Northwest. When a longstanding pediatric healthcare fundraising program concluded its retail operations, many dedicated volunteers, guild members, donors, and shoppers found themselves seeking new ways to continue making a meaningful impact in their communities.
Recognizing the strength and passion of this remarkable network of supporters, Vets for Kids was established to provide new opportunities for community engagement, charitable giving, and service. Today, we proudly connect volunteers, donors, shoppers, and community partners in support of programs that benefit children and families throughout our region.
Our mission extends beyond fundraising. Vets for Kids partners with nonprofit organizations that provide skills training, career exploration, and vocational development opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through these partnerships, our retail operations serve as a welcoming environment where participants can build confidence, gain workplace experience, and develop valuable life and employment skills.
At our core, we believe every child deserves access to the care and support they need to thrive. Guided by compassion, service, and community collaboration, we are proud to bring people together to create opportunities, strengthen connections, and build a brighter future for children and families across the Pacific Northwest.
