Making a difference

Vets for Kids

Making a difference in our community

Vets for Kids was founded in Olympia, Washington, in July 2025, born from a deep commitment to children and families across the Pacific Northwest. When Seattle’s largest children’s hospital closed its retail fundraising operations, it left a void for volunteers, guild networks, shoppers, and supporters who had long championed the hospital’s mission.

Seeing this need, we came together to ensure that vital support for pediatric care would not be lost. Vets for Kids exists to carry that work forward—supporting uncompensated care, empowering local guild fundraising, and strengthening the community connections that make healing possible.

At our core, we believe every child deserves access to the care they need to grow up healthy, strong, and full of possibility. Guided by compassion and driven by service, we are proud to stand with our community in building a brighter, healthier future for every child.
